Case Study:  MBA Curriculum Development and Teaching - Stratford University

Summary

Fairfield Technologies provided curriculum design, development, and teaching (at the adjunct-professor level) services to Stratford University.

For this effort, Fairfield Technologies staff:

  • Developed the curriculum for, authored, and taught two new E-Business courses in the MBA program (Enterprise Business Management track) at Stratford University. Course topics included strategic business uses of the Internet (e.g. ERP, SCM, CRM, B2B and B2C E-Business and E-Commerce applications), designing secure and scalable Internet architectures, web site and portal design, development, and usability, and the software engineering skills required to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provided technical guidance to graduate students building web sites using Macromedia UltraDev and Dreamweaver site development tools, Linux and Windows 2000 operating systems, Apache and Microsoft IIS web servers, MySQL, Oracle, and SQLServer database servers, and ASP, J2EE, PHP, and HTML development languages.
  • Successfully taught advanced business and technical topics to graduate students from very diverse backgrounds and prior levels of academic preparation.
  • Coordinated course development with university leadership and other professors to ensure proper targeting of course content.
  • Provided support for University accreditation program.
