FTI team members provided technical leadership to plan and implement a comprehensive yet practical and cost-effective Year 2000 (Y2K) testing program MCI Local Services.

- Developed detailed testing guidelines and templates, training key personnel in their use.
- Worked with application teams to successfully plan and implement testing efforts and monitor results.
- Recommended specific improvements to enhance performance.
- Identified and promoted company and industry "best practices" for testing.
- Supported risk mitigation and contingency planning efforts.
- Conducted software and service evaluation and selection studies.
- Gave management briefings on software quality assurance.
