Telecommunications
Fairfield Technologies Inc. and our staff members have strong experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting telecommunications technology and business architectures, applications, databases and products for service ordering, provisioning, traffic, billing, and equipment inventory functions for voice (wireline, wireless, and satellite), data, IP, advanced management, application, and security services, as well as providing technology refresh and rapid deployment capabilities. Selected projects include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Design, implement, administer, transition, and support high-volume databases for the FTS2000 Project, a system delivering integrated telephone and telecommunications services to the Federal government.
- Plan, develop, execute, and support a comprehensive testing program for all applications (service ordering, provisioning, traffic, billing, equipment inventory) during the Y2K evaluation, remediation, testing, and implementation process.
- Design, build, and deploy a business-to-business (B2B) reverse-auction marketplace for high-speed telecommunications services, reducing paperwork and streamlining time-consuming procurement processes.
- Provide turnkey web hosting and Internet services supporting FTI’s e-business customers.
- Re-engineer, re-develop, and integrate existing legacy systems to extend their useful life and incorporate them seamlessly into evolving enterprise technology architectures.
Major clients (both directly and under subcontract) have included AT&T, MCI, Nextel, Federal Government agencies, and private service providers and system integrators.
