We believe that teamwork, both within and across organizational boundaries, is key to project success, especially true in fast-paced business- and technology-driven environments. FTI encourages all employees to become involved with professional and technical associations and networks, in both traditional and online settings. FTI employees are active in “traditional” associations such as the Armed Forces Electronics and Communications Association (AFCEA), the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Industrial Security Awareness Council (ISAC), and the Society of Human Resource Professionals (SHRM). Online, FTI employees are active contributors to a wide variety of technical, functional, and mission-specific groups, forums, and discussion boards.
